Back in the day dA was quick for me, but since Jark isnt doing things anymore and all of this crap is being done by Spyed and so forth, and server moves, and all this other crap They need a better server setup because it used to be fast and now I feel bad though because dA was once a great site and now it seems like every chump with a stick figure goes and posts there and all of that storage space and bandwidth is being wasted.
Its still a bit slow due to the php scripts being loaded at the start of the page but not as bad as it was. Deviantart seems to be ok its not major slow for me but unless you have a decent connection these days then most websites will become slower as more dynamic and active content is added to sites etc.
